Chances are you have been approached by someone from Classic Escapes Holiday Club one time you’re in the mall. They offer you a scratch card where you can win prizes provided you attend one of their presentations. What do you make of it? Is it legit or is it a scam?
If you your research, you will find that there are a lot of Classic Escapes Holiday Club complaints. Let us talk go over them.
• They say that there are actually two piles of scratch cards; one that wins and another that does not. Based on how you look, the sales person would decide what card to give you.
• If you decide to attend their presentation, your senses will be accosted with terrible sales pitch. You cannot scratch your card until the presentation is over and if you have been handed one of the losing cards, you had no chance all along of winning and you have wasted time listening to their sales talk.
• If you are one of the “lucky” ones to win a prize, you will realize that it’s not really a prize because you have to pay a certain fee to enjoy it.
• The prize is for accommodation at a sub-standard property and location. This particular Classic Escapes Holiday Club complaint was disputed by the company. They say that the holiday is actually at one of their managed resorts which are mostly high-rise apartment towers in some of Australia’s favorite holiday destinations. They further claim that these are 3.5 to 4 stars resorts on or near a beach.
If you are thinking of signing up with Classic Escapes or attend one of their presentations, it would be prudent to do a thorough research first.
